Effect of Shape Tool Parameters on the Performance of Cold Circular Three-Dimensional Pilger Cross-Section Roll Forming

چکیده

Compared with other forming processes, Pilger cold rolling exhibits unique process characteristics and a simple production method, making it highly advantageous in terms of high-precision, high-strength, poor-plasticity alloys. Among them, the design parameters mill play significant role results, key being hole opening angle θ gap ΔK. In this study, numerical simulation model for an AZ31B magnesium alloy variable cross-section three-roll was established, finite element analysis employed to obtain comprehensive performance impact law on cold-rolled alloy. It can be concluded that when is 10° 1.2 mm, equivalent stress plastic strain billet reach minimum, surface precision excellent.
